Match Report
Bilton Grange Boys-U11B vs  Akeley Wood School
On: Wednesday, 11 Sep 2019
Venue: at Home

Wednesday brought the U11B team perfect weather to host both Akeley Wood and Crackley Hall. The first game versus Akeley Wood was captained by Gabriel and he led the team with genuine purpose. The final score line did not go our way but the BG boys showed amazing defence work over the twenty minutes. An impressive breakthrough try was scored by Harry.

Crackley Hall followed on shortly after, captained by Arran. Again, 100% effort and determination was shown throughout but unfortunately we came up short again on the score line as Crackley Hall managed four tries against our strong defence. Crackley Hall's coach approached Miss Retter at the end of the game thanking all the boys for making it a difficult twenty minuets for their U11's and commented on the strong determination and resilience of every player who took part in the game against them.

For a lot of the boys who put on a top for Bilton Grange on Wednesday, it was their first ever game and a great development opportunity for those who have played previously. Well done to Elija, who had his first game on Wednesday, playing the full twenty minuets for each game, leading his team up on every push for defence and supporting every player when a break had been made.
